A pleasant and welcoming apartment in a quiet and semi rural location offers the perfect base from which to explore a popular and attractive region of the Brittany coastline with excellent close links to beaches, market towns and sporting facilities.

Situation :

The Small hamlet of La Ville Oreux is situated just off the D768 a short drive from the market town of Plancoet. The hamlet comprises of five houses, the residents are friendly and welcoming, just ask them about their gardens, they take a great deal of pride in them!
The nearest large villages of Pluduno and St Potan are approximately 2kms in either direction and offer local shops, including a traditional bakery, bars, a superb restaurant and local garage. St Potan is regularly awarded prizes for the prettiest village in bloom, last year it won first prize in the department. The larger market towns of Plancoet and Matignon are five minutes drive by car and offer several supermarkets, more restaurants, and a Saturday and Wednesday morning market.

The closest access to the beach is from the stunning bay of St Jacut sur la mer less than ten minutes drive from the apartment. Beaches such as those around Erquy, Sable d’Or and the nature reserve at Cap Frehel are close and frequently visited attractions. The Brittany coastline is varied and offers secluded sandy beaches with granite cliff faces and away from the resorts themselves, peaceful and beautiful walking territory. Dogs under control are welcomed off lead and the walks available are many and varied. Dogs are accepted in most eating places and certainly won’t be out of place amongst the local French clientele with the almost obligatory dog under the table. You and your pet will be welcome.

Accommodation Sleeps 2/3 Persons :

 The large 19th century, stone fronted house is comprised of two self contained apartments. The ground floor apartment only, is available for rent. Recently refurbished and refitted, it offers a light and spacious interior with modern conveniences.

The entrance is from the shared, gated courtyard with ample space for parking.

Kitchen / Diner: A luminous kitchen diner with large south facing windows offers oodles of living space to spend time trying out some of the culinary delights of the region or just waking up slowly with a coffee and a croissant.
Gas cooker, Washing Machine, Ironing board and Steam Iron, Toaster, Microwave, Coffee percolator.

Living room: When you want time to take the weight off your feet, watch a bit of TV or listen to some music, relax, we’ve taken care of it. UK TV, Radio, VCR.

Bedroom: A roomy double, on request we can provide an additional single bed. Linen is provided and included in the rental price.

Bathroom and separate toilet: Large bath with integral shower, masses of hot water available, whenever you want it.

Garden: In front of the apartment on the other side of the courtyard is a south facing garden laid to lawn with sunny patio area. Sun bathing, reading, barbequing what ever takes your fancy it’s all available. Patio table and chairs plus BBQ provided. The garden is fenced with access through a gate.

Exercise paddock: Nearly two acres
Fenced grassed exercise paddock with shared access for residents use. Dogs are not to be left unattended in the garden or exercise area.

Heating : The apartment is available for rent throughout the year and offers fab oil fired central heating. It’s a monster of a boiler and we guarantee you won’t be cold!

Pet Services

Pet Bed Laundry :

Standard loads may be washed in our pet laundry facilities on request 3 euros per load
 

Grooming :

Professional grooming, wash and brush up or full groom by request usual local rates.

Pet Visiting :

By prior arrangement, should you wish to go out and need your dogs exercised or let out whilst you are away this can be arranged POA.

Vet Visit - Pet Passport :

As an inclusive part of your holiday and in-conjunction with Cani-Excel, we can offer assistance with ensuring correct documentation and a valid pets passport before departure from the UK and for de-ticking and de-worming paperwork from France including help with vets appointments etc.

Security and Loss :

Included in the rental price for your pet, a Cani – Excel pet tag with 24 hour monitored phone number in case of loss whilst in France.

Important Health Information :

Dog owners are strongly advised to ensure their pet starts preventative tick treatment PRIOR
to leaving the UK. Please note neither Programme or Stronghold are effective treatments against ticks. Any treatment should be given after consultation with your vet. You are also advised to consider taking out insurance for pets whilst in France

An inclusive price includes :

• Bed linen ( duvets sheets etc) Towels but not beach towels.
• Full central heating.
• Our welcome pack, if you need us to do a shop before you arrive just let us know.
• Pets passport assistance before departure from the UK and for vets visits for the return.

Changeovers: Saturday to Saturday, please respect the departure and arrival times.

From Sat 2nd April 2005 to Sat 25th June 2005 180 GBP inclusive

From Sat 25th June to Sat3rd Sept 2005 220 GBP inclusive

From Sat 3rd Sept to Sat 1st April 2006 180 GBP inclusive

Except Sat 17 Dec to Sat 7 Jan 2006 not available.

Damage Deposit GBP 100.00

To make a booking please confirm by phone or email and return a signed copy of our letting conditions and booking form confirming payment through your bank of the deposit ( 25% of the total rental amount) or if less than 8 weeks prior to rental the full rental amount and damage deposit (£ 100 ).
