Kennel Dimensions :

Kennels Situation :

The Boarding Kennels are situated approximately 30 metres from the house for complete supervision. They are set in approximately two acres of grounds with an extensive lawn and mature trees immediately in front, and a small copse beyond. Surrounding the kennel boundary is farmland in all directions. The grounds are managed to provide a natural reserve to both wildlife and nature
 

Heating :

Each Boarding Kennel has two individually controlled points for overhead heat lamps. Allowing flexibility in positioning and total control over each dogs heating. In addition the kennels have background radiant heating within the block.

Bedding :

Owners are free to provide their own bedding, we can accept no responsibility for bedding that is destroyed or shredded whilst their pet is in our care. We are unable to accept responsibility for bedding that cannot be easily washed . We will provide fleecy vetbed to all pets in our care provided it isn’t shredded or destroyed.
 

Diet :

Wherever possible we will provide a diet similar to a pets own. In the case of pets on prescription diets we ask that owners provide sufficient for the duration of their pets stay in our Boarding Kennels and notify us of any specific health concerns.. All dogs are fed on an individual basis according to their needs and preference. Owners are welcome to provide food and treats of their own. We are happy to cater for pets used to fresh cooked meat. Owners wishing to feed BARF will only be accepted with prior agreement.

Grooming :

Dogs are regularly groomed to ensure general good coat care and most dogs enjoy grooming as much for its social contact as for coat care. We are able to offer in-house professional grooming and trimming and if you would like your dogs to have a full wash and brush up or trim before they leave they please let us know at the time of reservation.
 

Health Policy :

• All dogs are required to have current vaccinations for distemper, hepatitis, lepto and parvo vaccination certificates must be provided . A written note from a veterinary surgeon may be accepted in place of annual booster ( except rabies) if in the veterinary surgeons opinion a booster vaccination may be considered detrimental to a dogs health. It is at the kennels discretion as to whether this is accepted or not and agreement must be made prior to your pets boarding.
• Dogs from outside area 22/35 of France must be current on vaccines for rabies.
• Dogs must be either tattooed or micro chipped ( French regulations)
• All dogs will receive a preventative treatment for ticks and fleas ( Frontline)
• We reserve the right to refuse entry to any dog currently under veterinary treatment on presentation at the kennels without specific agreement in advance.
• We will not accept dogs recuperating from elective surgery such as neutering for boarding until their stitches have been removed.
• Animals boarding with us for the first time over the age of 12 years will require a vet visit to check their general health within ten days of boarding. We will require a signed certificate or note of good health.
